About this house rental
The perfect, comfortable cottage for a relaxing holiday, Talbot House sleeps up to 5 in 3 bedrooms, ideal for families and groups and indeed if rented together with the adjoining studio can accommodate up to 7 people. The entrance porch leads into a spacious lounge with original exposed beams, cosy open fire, views across the Helton village green , a flat screen TV with DVD and a small music system. The open plan dining room has a large six seater dining table.There is central heating throughout. Off the lounge, the fully fitted kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer and has views down the garden to the Lowther Valley.
The stairs lead past a customised single room with cabin bed to the master bedroom with a feature king size bed and a further twin upstairs. The fully tiled bathroom has a bath and electric shower.
There is parking for 2 vehicles outside the front door.
A cot and high chair are available on request.

A very comfortable and very clean holiday cottage, also very well equipped with every thing essential making for a very enjoyable stay . Sue the owner was very pleasant and helpful ! Would highly rate this property !

We really enjoyed spending Christmas at Talbot House. The house was cosy and welcoming and well equipped with everything we needed. It is in an excellent location for walks, with lovely walks from the house without needing to take the car. We enjoyed visiting nearby Penrith which has excellent shopping facilities.

Overall the holiday was fantastic. Perfect location for walks from the cottage or trips out to Ullswater, Aira Force etc. Penrith is the local shopping centre with lots of lovely gift shops as well as supermarkets. Sue provided lots more details of things to do in an extensive information pack. I would definitely recommend Talbot House.

4 night stay. Lovely location. Blissfully quiet cottage. Owner helpful. Good communication.
Home entertainment could do with upgrade to smart TV. Bath small but shower very good. Overall enjoyable stay. Thanks.
