About this apartment rental
The apartment is located on the first floor of the Villa and is accessed by two independent inputs; terracotta floors and ceilings with wooden beams; 3 double bedrooms, 1 double bedroom with a single bed, 2 double rooms connected by wooden staircase, living room with stone fireplace, large kitchen, dishwasher, 4 bathrooms with shower, TV SAT. The apartment is located within a 200 ha estate. of woods, fields, vineyards and olive groves lies the ancient complex of Villa Avanella, including traditional country manor house, the typical Tuscan barn and, 100 mt., 4 apartments from characteristic Tuscan rural schools. The entire complex has been renovated respecting the architectural features of the buildings and it was enclosed along its perimeter. The buildings are decorated with the classic style of a Tuscan villa. Outside the buildings, guests can enjoy the garden, the 2 swimming pools: a mt. 10 x 20, with solar shower situated near the Villa and the Barn, the other mt. 9 x 4 located near the apartments, 2 built-in barbecue and laundry. Private parking.

We are a large group of 13 (2 families with 9 teens between us) and this could not have been more perfect. The view was spectacular, the owner was very very nice and responsive. We had plenty of room even to all sit at the table together. The pool was an added bonus and was amazing. Easy laundry on site. We’ve had a wonderful stay and were able to explore both Certaldo and many towns around Tuscany very easily. It is a complex so there are other families there as well but at most there were 2-4 people at the pool at any given time. There was no AC but fans did the trick even in very hot humid weather and we kept the shutters closed during the day to keep out the sun. We’d all go back in a heartbeat.

Francesca treated us wonderfully and the villa was just what our group of kids and adults needed. The property has multiple building so it’s good to know that others might be sharing the common grounds and pool with you. We weren’t aware of this, but everyone was lovely and patient with our vivacious group.
