About this house rental
Charming stone house completely renovated (ideal for 4 people) welcomes you in a charming little village located in the Cluniac lands.
The 70m² accommodation comprises on the ground floor a living room (140x200 convertible sofa which can accommodate 1 to 2 additional persons if necessary), a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with Italian shower and an independent WC.
Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms (1 160x200 bed and 2 90x190 beds).
You will have a wooden terrace in front of the house and a very green and shaded garden to fully enjoy nature.
Access to the cottage is via a private path lined with lime trees as well as a parking space near the accommodation.
The privileged location of the cottage will allow you to shine throughout this superb region steeped in history.
Visits for all await you in the heart of magnificent landscapes, chapels and deanery marked by the imprint of the monks of Cluny, castles from medieval times to the nineteenth century, caves, museums ... offers an evocation of the historic past of the Cluniac.
In another register you can discover the richness of this place located at the gates of the Grands Crus of Burgundy.
Beautiful walks await you, young and old, and you can take advantage of the greenway (Macon to Chalon-surSaone circuit) which notably passes by Cormatin and its very beautiful 17th century chateau as well as Taize (located 7Km from the cottage) ).

Les Vieux Poiriers is a wonderful home away from home while visiting in Burgundy. It is comfortably close to all the southern wine areas from Croze Hermitage to Pommard, all are easily accessible. There is good hiking just outside the door and more challenging trails easily accessed. The history and beauty of Cluny, Cormatin and Beaune are also nearby. The gite is new construction, well appointed, with a full kitchen and a generous modern bathroom. Finally, Didier and Laurence are a treat to work with and chat with once there. Don't miss this wonderful find.

Our second visit to Les Vieux Poiriers and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time.Everything was just as we remembered,very clean and with everything you need to have a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
Didier,Laurence and their two daughters are a lovely family who want their guests to enjoy their stay and do everything they can to ensure that they do.
We hope to return again soon.

Wir hatten einen einzigartigen Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus von Didier und Laurence. Die beiden sind perfekte Gastgeber: freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns gefreut über jedes Gespräch mit ihnen, das, wegen unserer geringen Französischkenntnisse, mit Englisch durchsetzt war. (Didier ist zu bescheiden, er kann auch Englisch.)
Das Ferienhaus am Dorfrand ist geräumig, geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Die Lage war perfekt für uns. Wir waren mit den Fahrrädern in Cormatin, Taize und Cluny (voie verte), mit dem Auto in Tournus, Autun, Beaune, Chapaize etc. etc.
Abends haben wir den Frieden des Dorfes genossen, auf der schönen Terrasse oder im Garten gesessen, als Nachbarn die Charolais-Rinder.
Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir planen bereits unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in Bonnay. Vielen Dank an Didier und Laurence!

Een mooie en praktische tot vakantiewoning verbouwde schuur. Rustig en landelijk gelegen aan de rand van het dorp. Met uitzicht op weiland én hoogstamboomgaard, waarin het heerlijk zitten is! Genoeg te zien in de omgeving. Nette en behulpzame verhuurders als buren.
