Price
Copenhagen is expensive. I paid just under £300 for four nights at the end of April 2026. I booked about 3 weeks in advance.
Location
The hotel is about a mile from the Central train station and Trivoli. There is a bus stop right outside for no.17 bus which goes to the centre, but it's pretty infrequent. There's a metro and other buses nearby as well.
Building and room
The room was compact, or you may call it tiny as well. It had a basic shower and toilet all in one, so much so that the only thing separating the two is a flimsy shower curtain. There was no shower tray, it's a wet room with a drain in the middle.
The bed was decent sized but the top mattress was very thin and flimsy. There were two duvets and two small pillows, pretty standard continental set up. There was a kettle and 2x each of paper cup, wooden stirrer, instant coffee sachet. Pretty tokenistic. I didn't try it so can't comment. There was no USB charger, so make sure you have European two-pin charger or adaptor. You can also buy one at reception if you're desperate like me.
There's optional breakfast which I also didn't try. There's luggage store facilities, self-serve, on site, for DKK60 for a day. Yup, it's paid service.
I was in tower A. The room looked out towards the water, but right now there's a building site just across the road. It's a busy road so couldn't keep the window open at night. There's no curtain, just a pull down blind, so either you have some air and very strong sunshine and everyone able to look in, or darkness and heat and no air.
There's 24h reception. The staff were helpful and friendly when I needed assistance.
Although there's hundreds of rooms, the place wasn't noisy too noisy.
Value for money
You get what you pay for, I guess. Compared to other places, this was the only one fitting my budget, and it served its purpose for a long weekend. It's not the most comfortable and not the prettiest. But if you're out most days anyways, it's fine for a few sleeps.
