4 km from Chinon, in an 18th century farmhouse in a 12th and 17th century priory (owners' residence), in the heart of the Chinon forest. Ground floor: kitchen, living room, bathroom, toilet. Upstairs: 1st bedroom (160 cm bed), 2nd bedroom (160 cm bed), 3rd bedroom (2 single beds), shower/toilet. High chair and cot. WIFI connection. Electric heating (extra charge). Private, independent and shaded enclosed garden of 500 m² and south-facing terrace (quality garden furniture, deckchairs). Tumble dryer and 130 m² games room (p-pong, table football) shared with 2nd gîte in another outbuilding. Children's swing. The layout of the premises preserves everyone's privacy. Included: sheets/beds made, towels and table linen, tea towels. wood provided. In the heart of Touraine and the Châteaux of the Loire, not far from the famous vineyards of Chinon and Bourgueil, the Grammont gîte offers high-end services for a calm and relaxing holiday, just like the surrounding countryside. The interior design, the choice of furniture and bedding, the decoration, the colours and materials used, everything here exudes authenticity and good taste. The fires in the tuffeau stone fireplace in the living room will enhance the warm atmosphere felt as soon as you cross the threshold of the gîte. It is located in a clearing on the edge of the Chinon forest and benefits from a location near an old 12th century priory which also houses another rental. The layout of the premises is such that this magnificent gîte benefits from its own wooded garden, partly enclosed by walls, perfectly private and independent. Without any vis-à-vis, you will love to relax there in perfect privacy on sunny days.
