About this chalet rental
The villa is located in the quiet and peaceful area of Skaleta, just 700m from the beach and restaurants!
It is consisted of 3 fully equipped apartments (7 bedrooms in total) which make it ideal for a group of friends or families! All 3 apartments can accommodate up to 14 guests in total!
Downstairs you can reach 2 apartments of 85sqm & 75 sqm, with 2 bedrooms, living room area, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, hob, oven, toaster, blender, coffee machine). There is a full set of cutlery, cooking utensils and glassware. In the storage rooms you will also find an iron, ironing board, first aid kit. and a full bathroom each one! All bedrooms and living room area are fully air-conditioned. There are patio shaded areas around these apartments where you can enjoy your meal and drink with direct access to the pool and outdoor area as well!
Upstairs there is the 126 sqm 3 bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, hob, oven, toaster, blender, coffee machine) and a bathroom. All bedrooms and living room area are fully air-conditioned. You can relax by sitting in the spacious veranda with nice sea views! There is also a shaded dining area where you can all sit together!
Outdoors you can relax by the pool (22sqm, 1,5m deep). Sunbeds and umbrellas are also available! BBQ facilities are available too to enjoy a meal all together. Another dining area is also available next to the pool!

Τhe villa's location is great, as you have the opportunity to visit all the well-known beaches and sightseeing of Rethymno with your car, taking only 5 to 20 minutes. Bus service is also convenient, only 700 m from the villa, every 30 min to Rethymno town.
Guests can find a beautiful sandy beach, located in Skaleta area, which is only 700 meter away. Also, in Skaleta there are all the shops that you might need, such as super markets, atm, restaurants, cafes, small shops and various other facilities.

Guests are responsible to ensure that the property is left in a reasonable condition of cleanliness and in the same condition of repair as upon arrival.
The number of guest should not exceed the number referred at the rental agreement. We do not hold any responsibility for the extra people.
While all pools are built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization, parents have full responsibility for supervising their children. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the pool or hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. Diving is also prohibited.
* Please respect the quiet hours from 15:00 to 17:30 and from 23:00 to 07:00 and not make excssive noise during these times.
* Please note that the "climate crisis resilience fee" (mandatory government tax) of 15€ per night is applicableand payable in cash upon arrival, directly to the owner of the villa.

We were very happy for our stay in Villa Sofia.
We were 4 generations – my husband and I, our son and daughter in law, our 5 grandchildren with wife/girl/boyfriends and our great grandson age 3½ year. A house with 7 bedrooms was needed – and Villa Sofia were perfect- with 3 separated apartments. The landlord had arranged a big table for us so we all could be together for the meals.
We are also very grateful for all the help and support we got from the landlord and Elisabeth. Our planned flight was cancelled so we had to change to another flight – we arrived 03.30 to the airport. But Elisabeth managed to arrange a common transport for us to Villa Sofia – and all was arranged so we could come into the house in the middle of the night 😊.
Elisabeth also told us about where to find good local restaurant. We enjoyed the pool, the beaches and visiting the city Rethymno.
It was also a very good help for us that the landlord allowed us to stay in the house a little longer the day for departure – so we did not have to spend too long time in the airport waiting for our flight home.

Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und sorgt regelmäßig dafür, dass der Pool gereinigt wird! Bei unserer Ankunft ist er direkt mit uns zum Supermarkt gefahren, damit wir direkt das Nötigste holen konnten.
Skaleta ist ein kleines typisches griechisches Dorf, Supermarktanbindung ca.2 km entfernt. Das Meer ist ca 700 m fußläufig entfernt.
Die Agentur ist jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr hilfreich! Tolle Kooperation zur Autovermietung-wir hatten noch nie ein so gutes und sicheres Auto auf Kreta!!!Ein Auto vor Ort ist unabdingbar, wenn man mobil ist, ist Rethymnon innerhalb 15 min erreichbar!
Wir hatten eine tolle erste Woche hier, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Großfamilien spitze, sehr kinderfreundlich und für einen unbeschwerten Urlaub weiterzuempfehlen!
