About this apartment rental
Lighthouse Zavala is a beautiful detached stone house, located on the mountain with a beautiful view over the sea and the uninhabited island of Scedro. From the house you can walk down the hill to find one of the many quiet pebbly beaches and take a dip in the clear blue sea. For your fresh bread you walk a short distance to the Market, where you can also do the simple shopping.
The apartment is fully equipped and very spacious (95 m2). The apartment is located on the middle floor and has a separate entrance. Above the apartment there is another apartment, which is also rented out. Both apartments are identical. Ideal if you want to celebrate a holiday with two families or couples at the same time, but still want to maintain your own privacy.
Layout:
Each apartment is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge with freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, coffee milk frother for the tastiest cappuccino and much more. Food can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors on the balcony, while you enjoy the rising or setting sun and the beautiful view of the island of Scedro. On the balcony is a table with chairs and a relaxed lounger. There is a small picnic table for the little ones. The balcony on the middle floor is completely covered. The upper apartment is not, but that has a sunscreen.
At the back of the apartment are the two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed and a single bed. There is a gazebo cabinet in each room. Between the two rooms is the bathroom where the toilet is located and the rain shower and sink.
In the spacious living room is the sofa bed for two people that can be used and relaxed armchairs. A cot and high chair are available for the little ones.
On the ground floor is the 'storage' where the washing machine is, which is available for all tenants.
Free use of wifi.

Zeer prettig appartement. We waren hier met onze dochter van 9 maanden. Ze kon overal kruipen. Zelfs op het balkon.
We hebben beneden een bootje gehuurd.
En heerlijk gegeten. Al met al een top vakantie! Appartement onbrak niets!

Un sitio estupendo situado en lo alto con unas vistas maravillosas. La casa esta limpia y tiene de todo. Marianne, la dueña, es encantadora.

We had the apartment on 1. Floor, with a stunning view from the huge terrace. The apartment was new, and the kitchen was the best equipped we have tried so far.
Marianne was very nice, and welcomed us with water in the fridge, chocolate and a bottle of wine.
The bedrooms are nice, and the air condition in the living room can also reach the bedrooms at night, if you need it. Wi-Fi worked too;-)
As the two of the 3 apartments can be rented, you can have more or less quiet neighbours, and the apartment has not the completely "On my own villa feeling".
The village is very calm, and you can walk from the house to the nearby beaches
( also for a morning swim).
You will need a car, as the village has a small shop; just as a supply.
This is the place if your looking for a place to relax; snorkel, dive, paddel board, rent a boat and see the island.
Hvar town is just a small drive away if you miss the busy city life.
We can recommend the Zaca café by the harbour; great seafood and the white house wine was excellent!

Wij hebben een heerlijke, zonnige en mooie vakantie gehad in Kroatie. In het vakantiehuis op HVAR. Het huis voelt ruim, licht en luxueus aan. Er is mooi sanitair, goede bedden en een charmante inrichting. Met een gezin met 2 kinderen (basisschoolleeftijd) was het ruime balkon prettig als extra ruimte. Allerlei leuke dingen op korte afstand te doen, bootje varen, zwemmen, stadjes bezoeken, natuurwandelingen en vooral volop zon en een hele mooi blauwe zee. De eigenaresse is goed bereikbaar, gastvrij en denkt mee wat voor ons als gezin handig was om te doen qua activiteiten en reizen. Ik raad deze woning van harte aan!
