About this apartment rental
A nice two room apartment of 30 m2 near the centre of Rotterdam. The house fully furnished and located on the second floor. There is no lift and the stairs are steep.
With one livingroom and separate semi open kitchen. There is a bedroom with a 2 persons bed of 140 cm by 200 cm, and a small shower with toilet. On the same floor there is a laundry room that can be used.
Only 10 minutes walk from Central Station and 15 minutes from the city centre. A lot of restaurant at a few minutes walk. Also supermarkets are close by.
24 hours check in because of key safe box.
We have sometimes an option for a parking place in a nearby garage please let us know if you are interested then we can see if it is available and send you the price.
Only for two persons and no smoking.

The stay was really pleasend. China town ist near by and hast a Lot of great Restaurants. Takumi is my best recomandation.
Also Rent a Bike If you can and explore the City.

I regularly come to rotterdam for barbering classes at The Old School Barber Academy by Schorem on nieuwe binnenweg and find different stays each time. This apartment was was SUPER close to the academy, only took me about 10 minutes to walk in every day. Super easy to get in and out of the city center by foot. Lots of restaurants in the area and shopping.
If you’re not used to older buildings you may have to fuss a little with the lock on the front door initially but once you’ve figured out the sweet spot you won’t have any problems getting in and out.
The stairs are steep and tight, but that’s how most of the building in rotterdam and Amsterdam are. Getting large luggage up the stairs on your own will be a workout but if you’re having a longer stay it’s worth the effort. Homeowner provided a complimentary bottle of sparkling water as well as a Heineken in the fridge and the cupboards and pantry were stocked with dishes, cookware and salt and pepper, sugar, vinegar, seasoning, coffee and tea.
The unit is on a main road so there is some noise pollution but I personally love rotterdam so much and it doesn’t bother me.
The window in the bedroom also looks out onto the neighbouring buildings and courtyards in the back with lots of foliage so it feels like there’s a quieter escape space right in the apartment.
Clean sheets and towels were provided, bed was comfy,
Would stay again.

We chose this property as it was one of the cheaper places to stay in Rotterdam and this is reflected in the basic amenities provided. We had to ask for a kettle and there was only a small combi oven and microwave. There was no hairdrier. The flat is up 2 flights of steep stairs which is fine as long as you are fit. The flat is a good location and onky a 10 minute walk from the station and good access to transport
