The Lake Shore Beach House the first floor has a great room which extends from the living room, dining area to the kitchen. Large windows are on both sides of this spacious plan. The kitchen has all new appliances, and lots of room for cooking and entertaining.

The Lake Shore Beach House has 5 bedrooms. Three bedrooms are on the first floor and two bedrooms are on the lower level. Four of the beds are king size therapeutic luxury mattresses, one is queen. There is a master bathroom, and a large bathroom on both the first floor and the lower level. Total of three newly rehabbed bathrooms.
Walks on the beach are exceptional as you will find it to be one of the cleanest open beaches of Lake Michigan. The neighbors take pride in taking pristine care of this beach, which is part of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Park - our nations newest national park! Miller Beach is an exceptional neighborhood beach, festive, well cared for and uncrowded - a perfect getaway at any time of the year.

Great time at the Lake Shore house. My family flew into Chicago and was going for the Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame game. This is a great location because it is right in the middle between Chicago and South Bend and only about 1 hour drive to each. The house has tons of beds and nice accommodations and amenities and the gorgeous Indiana Dunes West Beach is right across the street just like the picture shows. We took long walks and enjoyed the beach and dunes on one day and went to Notre Dame for the other day. Great trip. Recommend staying at this nice property.

We loved the beach nearby for a sunset. We loved the layout of the house and unique furnishings. Nearby to New Buffalo to visit as well . We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a clean , fun and great location to enjoy .

Came here with my sister and our families and parents. This is a nicely modern home with very nice decorations and kitchen appliances and plenty of quality pots and pans and spices. Felt like the host's home and not just a rental. While we were there, we put aside some decorative vases, so the kids could not accidentally break them. A partial view of the lake and close easy walk to the beach with the kids and some toys to enjoy too. Host was proactive about reaching out to talk through the check in process and so very helpful afterwards in helping ship some items we had accidentally left behind home. I would stay again.

The home and area were beautiful.
Unfortunately, the attitude of Elena was not as desirable. There was a gas leak and while Elena did call the gas company, she refused to her have her maintenance man visit the property on the first night. Instead he came on Saturday morning and disturbed sleeping guests for a bit. We had to have our own person stop by to say they were maintenance to avoid having the gas completely shut off until morning.
We had to pay our local person for his inconvenience which Elena said she wanted to at least tip him, and this never happened.
On Sunday we honored an 81 year old guest with outdoor music from 5 - 6:30 pm. Shortly before 6 pm Elena called and said she received complaints. AT 6 PM? I verified noise ordinances are in place beginning 9 pm - 9 am. Seems quite odd that we were called around 6 pm when it was early and not very loud.
We asked for a bit of a refund for our inconvenience and Elena declined, offering a menial amount, refusing to negotiate and then discontinuing communication.
I have never used VRBO before and since all communication was with the host I did not even think that we would be looking for alternate accommodations. Elena tried to blame guests about timing if notifying her and such.
There is no blame for people who paid in advance and could not even turn in the stove to cook for senior citizens either health concerns because of the gas danger.
Elena was interested in her review rather than guest comfort/safety.
