About this house rental
Guest suite accommodation on a private property located steps away from Cordova Bay Beach and the Beach House Restaurant (restaurant is currently closed).
The suite is located on the upper floor of our house. There are views of the ocean, San Juan Island and Mount Baker. The master bedroom is spacious with ocean views. A private washroom is located beside the bedroom which has a deep tub and shower. The suite has a living room with tv and ample seating space. The kitchen is fully equipped with private deck entrance with great ocean views. There is complimentary coffee, tea and some cooking necessities. There is room to accommodate up to two guests in the suite with a large Ikea futon in the living room. There is a main entrance at the front entry and a second entry off the second story deck. Both entrances offer coded door locks. There are folding beach chairs and extra beach towels to use to enjoy the beach. The BBQ is located under the deck. Outside seating space on the deck to eat or enjoy your morning coffee. You can store sporting equipment in the yard and there is a hose by the palm if you need to rinse off anything.
The area is lively during the day and peaceful and relaxing during the evening. If you are celebrating a special event or are traveling to the area for a special reason please let us know. The Cordova Bay area is known for it's wide spread sandy beach which is across the street from where we live. There is access to bike trails, forest hikes, the stores of Mattick's Farm and Red Barn grocery and Cordova Bay Golf Course are a 1 km walk away from the home as well. A local hiking area is Mt Douglas which offers trails and a beautiful viewing area at the top of the hill. Cordova Bay is a 15 minute drive to Butchart Gardens, Victoria International Airport and the Victoria down town area. There are no hotels located in this immediate area. The area is frequented by tourists and locals throughout the year. If you have traveled to Victoria before and are looking to stay in an area which is close to Victoria but off the beaten path this is the place.

This was lovely place across the street from a quiet beach on Cordova Bay. The accommodation is very clean and nicely equipped and we enjoyed our time there. It was about a 20 minute drive to Victoria or the Butchart Gardens and there were numerous wineries, cideries and breweries for folks in our group who love that sort of thing. Our hosts were most responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious, immaculate, quite a good view of cordova bay. No restaurants within easy reach so prepare accordingly. I bring food that I can heat up. About a 20 minute drive into Victoria. Suggest you take Bleckinsop rather highway 17 as picturesque route through farmland and then through Cook street village to Dallas road along oceanfront.
