Diephuys 14 is a recently stylish renovated holiday home with room for 14 guests. The house is located in a very residential area just a stone's throw from the historical market of Bruges.
Diephuys 14 is the ideal place to stay with friends and family to explore Bruges and surroundings.
The property consists of 2 parts; a left residential area and a right-hand residential area separated from each other by a common entrance hall.
In the left living area there is a cozy sitting area on the ground floor as well as a small but comfortable kitchen at the back. On the first floor there is a large master bedroom as well as a bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower, a separate toilet and a separate shower room. Finally, there is a sleeping floor under the roof where there is a double bed at the front and two single beds at the rear.
In the right-hand living area there is a large open living space with fully equipped kitchen, dining room and sitting area on the ground floor. There is also a toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds), a bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower, and a separate toilet. On the 2 floor there are another 2 bedrooms again 1 with a double bed and 1 room with 2 single beds. Also on this floor there is a bathroom with double sink, shower and toilet.

Our family of 8 adults loved our stay. Plenty of Space and the location is on a quiet street yet easily walkable to all of Brugge.

It's undeniably lovely: two old Belgian houses renovated with great style.
It sleeps 14, we were 11 but the fact that it's two houses means one house (A) is actually intended for 8 people and the other (B) for 6.
Of course, the addition's fine but it means that there are 2 kitchen/diners and 2 lounges each sitting the number of people lodged in the house they are in.
We wanted to eat together and lounge together so this took some inventiveness and was not comfortable. Furthermore, the kitchens are lacking a real oven, each only has a small saucepan and 2 hobs. The microwave is bizarrely fitted into a lower cupboard below the cutlery drawer, oddly inaccessible. It's a triumph of aesthetic over practicality. We had intended to cook for all 11 of us in the evenings, but this was not achievable.
We assume it's intended for a group who will mostly be going out to eat and socialise.
We have rented houses for years each December as a group in various places and have not experienced this issue before.
Also the Wifi didn't work most of the time, and when it did only for a few minutes at low speed. Reception also varied throughout the house so we all just ended up not bothering.
Having said all that, we made the best of it and, as said earlier, it's a lovely place all in all.

Birthday celebration. Two separate houses within one entrance. There was plenty of room for our party of ten to use the large house to be together and the grandparents slept in the small house. Beautifully designed and decorated houses. Excellent location everything within easy walks. Small supermarket a short distance away.
