Lughnasa is a beautifully restored Georgian rental perfect for those seeking an idyllic rural stay 15 miles Galway City. The Carriagehouse is a world apart from the bustle of city life and is a great retreat to return to after sightseeing. There is a timeless tree-lined avenue leading into the courtyard and a wonderful sense of history and heritage. Overlooking a Palladian fountain, Lughnasa offers a seamless balance of period features and modern amenities. On the ground floor, guests are greeted with a marble entrance hall leading into a dining room, living room and fully-fitted compact kitchen. Upstairs there are two luxurious bedrooms, one king and one with two single beds, each with bathtubs. Lisdonagh Estate , A real Gem !

Despite our uncertainty upon our arrival of where the building was that we were staying in, this was such a beautiful place to stay. The location was ideal for some great site seeing and to relax with some down days midway through our vacation. Finola was a fantastic hostess and very accommodating. We can’t wait to stay there again.

What a BEAUTIFUL setting in the Irish countryside just outside of Galway! We LOVED our stay. The carriage house was very clean, charming and perfect for 4 of us. Our host was so gracious and what a pleasure to meet her. I would highly recommend this Beautiful place which was only about a 20 minute drive into Galway.

Would definitely return to this property again. Lovely is the best word I can use to describe the area and home. Truly charming and the host communication is superb.

Overall we had a great stay. Used the location as a countryside home base and explored the region. Was a harder to find location as google maps struggled a bit and wifi was spotty at times. Finola was a very gracious hostess.
