Montague House Apartments

The location is perfect, and the apartment was very clean when we arrived. The WiFi is fast, and the room is spacious. The best part is the kitchen—it’s fully equipped with a pan, oven, microwave, and fridge, which made it easy for us to cook and store food and drinks. The building seemed quite busy, as we noticed keys being frequently collected and returned, but the neighbours were quiet and respectful.

It would be even better if a hair dryer could be provided. We were aware it wasn’t listed before arrival, and appreciated that a small heater was provided.

Absolutely great location, 1minute walk to the promenade. Lovely white bed linen and towels. Good facilities for the little kitchen area. Great size TV and channels available.

Flat was at the top of the house- my fault as I should have realised this. 5 flights of stairs which was a bit of a pull, but as I say, my fault. The bathroom was absolutely tiny. The tiniest hand sink could only take water to a depth of about 2” at the most which made washing challenging. The shower was very slow to drain so you had to be very quick in the shower so it didn’t overflow. Other than that it was a great place to stay

Had good facilities. Apartments are good sizes. Awesome showers. Close to the beach.

Didn't like the way you got your key. Someone else staying took our key to our apartment, and we had a nightmare regarding our room. So, I had to stay in a different room the 1st night. And then had to swap to our actual apartment the 2nd day. Also, we found the keys fit all doors in the block, so I didn't feel my belongings were safe and had to dead bolt the door when in the apartment. The double beds are quite small, so I didn't sleep the best. Cleaning wasn't the best either..the occupants that pinched our apartment the 1st night left a plate of drugs under the furniture in the living room, which the cleaner didn't find. Was absolutely horrified... And had to grab the hoover from the landing and hoover our own apartment as it wasn't done.
