This Maccagno apartment rental is a modern two bedroom apartment located on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The apartment is well equipped and guests enjoy use of a superb swimming pool and jacuzzi, surrounded by stylish teak decking and loungers. There is a restaurant on site as well as a lively bar and cafe.
The Space:
This Maccagno apartment rental is furnished in a modern and contemporary style and is located on the second floor of the building.
It has two bedrooms, one double and one which can be arranged as either a twin or double room. There are also two bathrooms, both with sink, bidet and toilet. One has a shower whilst the other has a bath tub.
Finally, there is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area in this Maccagno apartment rental. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large dining table seating six. The interior furniture is arranged to make the most of the lake view from the property. Please note that this Maccagno apartment rental can sleep five in total as there is a sofa bed in the living area.
Patio doors lead from the dining area to a private terrace, equipped with table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. The terrace of this Maccagno apartment rental enjoys excellent views of the lake and swimming pools, perfect for watching the sun setting each evening.
Please note that there is an additional energy fee of 68 euros which must be paid in cash locally upon arrival.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the apartment and private terrace. It also has shared use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi with the other residents staying at the apartments.
The Neighborhood:
Maccagno is a popular lakeside town boasting a number of restaurants, bars and cafes all within walking distance of the apartment. The nearest restaurant is on site whilst the second closest is just a few metres in the other direction.
This Maccagno apartment rental is situated just across from a lakeside beach area which is popular with the locals. The lake is wonderful to swim in and from which to enjoy an array of water sports. There are lots of other activities to enjoy nearby too including climbing, cycling, tennis and volleyball.
Getting Around:
Since this Maccagno apartment rental is within walking distance of the boat stop, a car is not essential although having one will allow you to explore more of the area. It is possible to get from Milan Malpensa airport to the village by train or by taxi.
Other Things to Note:
This Maccagno apartment rental is one of my favourite apartments within this popular lakeside complex. Originally a three bedroom apartment, the owners instead chose to knock through one of the bedrooms to create a particularly spacious 2 bedroom property.
The apartment is a short walk from a supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants, You can even walk along the lakeside to the boat stop where you can catch a boat to all the other towns and villages on the lake.
Since this Maccagno apartment rental is within walking distance of the boat stop, a car is not essential although having one will potentially allow you to explore more of the area. For those that do hire a car, the property has allocated parking in an underground car park. If you don't want to hire a car, it is easy to reach the property from Milan Malpensa airport by either train or by taxi. Just let us know if you need any help booking a taxi transfer.
