Penny Black cottage is a beautiful place to stay in a lovely location, only being a 10/15 minute walk into Ironbridge, it’s cosy, yet plenty of space with 2 large bedrooms both with en-suites.
Communication with host was great & easy to check in, parking outside the cottage too on the road made easy for unloading. Would highly recommend.
Just a couple of minor things & hence why not a 10 score, there were no coffee pods for the machine provided, only a few teabags/sugar for a 2night stay, & the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied, these were just small things that could have made it better for us.

Penny Black Cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. It was comfortable and clean.
We needed to get in contact with the owner and she responded immediately.
Fabulous location. Would certainly stay there again.
The bed was a little too firm for me.
Bigger bath towels.
The outside area is an added benefit, it could do with a freshen up. Having said that it wasn't the weather for us to sit outside.

The decor, size, feel of the place, well equipped kitchen, log burner and utility room (very useful to have somewhere for shoes and coats).
The pillows and small towels. The crockery was tired too and not in keeping with the stunning kitchen.
