About this house rental
This cozy log house is located on a spacious hillside plot with a beautiful view of the sea. This excellent view can also be enjoyed from the barrel sauna, which is located directly on the property next to the pretty holiday property. Opposite the kitchen, which is located in a separate room (with a small door), is the dining table, which also offers a great view of the beautiful Baltic Sea. To the right of this is the combined living and dining area with a wood stove, which provides cozy warmth. The walls are attractively paneled and the ceiling has been pulled up to the gable, creating an inviting atmosphere.
The walls in the well-kept holiday property are mostly white, so that the neat design elements come into their own. A hallway leads off to the left of the living area, from which one can access the two bedrooms and the new bathroom. In one bedroom there is a 1 double bed (140 x 200 spring mattress), while in the other room there is 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed with 2 beds (the beds are located at one end of the room).
A wooden floor was laid in the living area (approx. 7 German programs can be received via antenna), while there is carpeting in the bedrooms, linoleum is in the kitchen and the bathroom has been tiled.
Please note: although there are 6 beds in 2 bedrooms in the summer house, the maximum number of vacationers is 4 guests.

Die Bilder halten, was sie versprechen. Wir haben viel Zeit mit Buch und Fernglas auf der Terrasse und zwischendurch in der Sauna verbracht. Erholungsfaktor: Hoch. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, Faaborg bietet auch ausreichend Möglichkeiten um Zutaten einzukaufen. Klare Empfehlung!

Das Haus bietet vier Erwachsenen ausreichend Platz: Zwei separate Schlafzimmer sowie ein gemütlich eingerichteter Wohnbereich mit Esstisch, Couch, drei bequemen Liegesesseln und einem Kamin. Die kleinere Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer funktional, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
Highlight des Hauses war für uns der tolle Außenbereich: Eine große Holzterasse mit Meerblick, eine sehr gepflegte Grünfläche sowie eine recht neue Fasssauna (ebenfalls mit Meerblick). Eine Außendusche würde das Angebot vollständig abrunden, aber auch die Nähe zum Meer (ca. 150 Meter) lässt nach dem Schwitzen eine Abkühlung im/mit Wasser zu.
Das einzige Manko unserer Reise bestand im Buchungsvorgang: So haben wir das Haus über FeWo für 5 Tage gebucht und den entsprechenden Betrag mit Abschluss des Buchungsvorgangs vollständig - wohlgemerkt ohne Option auf Rückerstattung - bezahlt. Erst im Nachhinein wurde uns über die Vermittlungsagentur (DK-Ferien) mitgeteilt, dass eine Buchung ausschließlich für eine Woche möglich ist. Mangels Alternativen sind wir der weiteren Zahlungsaufforderung nachgekommen und haben das Haus schließlich für 7 Tage gebucht, wobei uns bei Ankunft wiederum seitens der Vermieterin mitgeteilt wurde, dass in 6 Tagen bereits die nächsten Gästen ankämen. Das ganze Durcheinander konnte letztlich nach einigen Telefonaten unproblematisch geklärt werden, dennoch bleibt der Eindruck, dass die Kommunikation zwischen Agentur und Vermieterin noch nicht optimal ist. Hierzu passt beispielsweise auch, dass der im Vorfeld ausgewiesene Strompreis (0,50€ pro kWh) nicht mit der Angabe der Vermieterin identisch ist (0,60€ pro kWh) - eine Kleinigkeit, aber eben nicht optimal.
Insgesamt können wir einen Aufenthalt im Haus dennoch wärmstens empfehlen und wir werden definitiv gerne noch einmal wiederkommen.

Durch die ruhige Lage mit dem großen, umwachsenen Grundstück ist das Haus ideal zum entspannen.
Die Ausstattung ist gut und wenn nötig bekommt man freundliche Hilfe. Für den fünften Stern fehlt allerdings eine bessere Dusche und ein leicht aufgestocktes Wäschepaket. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
