Uma Jala Villa Ubud by The Travel Ubud Bali

We loved the property, the private pool and the view of the rice fields. The place was cleaned and cleaned daily. The staff were also superb at helping us find transport and activities to go on, even bringing beauty therapists to the villa for us to have a massage, and making the most delicious floating breakfast. The villa is also next to a nice restaurant with a big pool if you wanted somewhere quick and nice to eat, or relax at.

If I had to point out one thing I would say the location wasn’t what I expected, however I think you’d find that for most villas around the Ubud area. As Ubud is such a vast area with many different things to see all scattered about, you need to rely on taxis and mopeds to get around which can make a long day tiring due to the amount of traffic in Ubud.

First of all, the location is just perfect for a calm and cozy stay. It’s about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute ride from a more vibrant area, while still feeling peaceful and quiet. Surrounded by beautiful rice fields, with small village paths nearby — perfect for slow walks and recharging. The staff is super responsive and helpful. Always quick to reply and ready to assist with anything. The villa is well equipped for a comfortable stay, with a great view over the rice fields. The pool is well maintained too. Strongly recommend it for a calm, recharging time. And if you’re there, make sure to visit Mana Restaurant & Market and Fermeto — both nearby, with excellent food and a great set menu experience.

That’s not a major downside, but could make the stay even better: the kitchen equipment could be improved a bit — more dishes and cutlery, and a pot with a lid. It would also help to have some basic cooking essentials like oil, salt, and spices.

Great location, peaceful, very relaxing, clean and comfortable surroundings. Well equipped and clean kitchen area. Friendly efficient staff. Close to restaurants, bars and pathways through the rice fields.

Next door villas kitchen area was the other side of the bedroom wall behind the bed headboard, with no sound insulation at all. This is for me, a major design fault of the complex.
