About this chalet rental
An chalet for lovers of authenticity, nested in the heart of Sarreyer, a typical village in the Swiss Alps.
The chalet is located in the centre of the magnificent Val de Bagnes, close to Verbier and the 4-Vallées ski area. This little paradise is ideal for skiers (from December to April), hikers, cyclists or simply to get some fresh mountain air. In summer, cable cars, buses and various activities are offered with the tourist tax (not included in the rental price, to be paid at the tourist office).
The chalet has three bedrooms (1x2 single beds on the ground floor, 2x 160cm double beds on the 1st floor), a living room (with sofa bed) on the 1st floor, a dining room and separate kitchen on the ground floor, and two WCs/showers (one on each floor).
This is an old chalet, which we are gradually renovating.
The heating is wood-burning, thanks to two stone-stoves ("pierre-ollaires") that radiate heat (see pictures). There are also additional electric radiators. As this is an old chalet, the ceilings are not very high (especially on the ground floor).
A car is recommended. The village is 10-15 minutes from Verbier and 20 minutes from Le Châble on the Route du Soleil (the main access road via Lourtier is temporarily closed following a landslide). The village can also be reached by public transport from Le Châble (bus, then cable car).
The chalet is our secondary home, which we use regularly. It is therefore fully equipped. You will be able to use the basic foodstuffs in our kitchen. Please replace any product you finish.
We use this chalet to recharge our batteries. There are no televisions or electronic games. But there is a dishwasher and a washing machine... There is also an internet connection (average connection and speed).
We expect our guests to clean the chalet before they leave or to pay a cleaning fee of CHF 100.

We enjoyed our stay in this special place: in a very small and old typical Valais village, we had a fantastic stay. Everything we needed was there: privacy, rest, a good kitchen and enough comfort for our family of 5.

Excellent séjour dans ce très joli chalet. Exactement ce a quoi nous nous attendions. Propriétaires charmants et prestation très soignée. Nous reviendrons je l’espère et nous recommandons.

Sarreyer ist ein altes Walliser Dorf, dass sich den dörflichen Charakter behalten hat und nicht unter zersiedelt ist.
Das Chalet ist perfekt eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr zweckdienlich. Man merkt, dass die Eigentümer das Chalet selber intensiv nutzen: alles ist am richtigen Platz. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr zuvorkommend, proaktiv und in ausgezeichnetem Deutsch.
Wir haben die Zeit für einige anspruchsvolle Wanderungen um den Grand Combin genutzt. Aber auch kürzere und weniger anstrengende Wanderungen in der Höhe sind ab Verbier möglich (gutes Angebot an Bergbahnen auch im Sommer)
Die Unterkunft ist für erholsame und ruhige Wanderferien perfeKR.
