About this villa rental
Happy Villa is set at the ‘welcome’ point of the historic Galatas village, close both to Chania city and to many beautiful sandy beaches.
It enjoys a blend of panoramic views of the sea, Ag. Theodori island, Chania town and the ‘Lefka Ori’ mountains.
It is owned and designed by two architects who have discretely created a modern premise with attention to detail and high quality standards.
Happy Villa consists of a ground floor, a first floor, an attic and a basement. 305 sq m in total.
A lot of balconies surround the villa whereas the main one is ‘attached’ to the heated swimming pool.
In more detail on the ground floor there is the living and dining room area, the kitchen and one WC.
Apart the six satellite TV’s in all rooms of the villa, there is a big 50 inch TV on the living room equipped with PS4 with two controllers and games, Netflix and Spotify subscription, surround home cinema speakers,. There is also a windows mini pc connected to the screen and a powerful bluetooth speaker.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms. One of them has a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The other two have two single beds each and share one more bathroom that there is also on the first floor. Every bedroom has its own balcony.
At the higher level of the villa there is a beautiful attic with superb views of the sea and Ag. Theodori island, at the north side, and from the south side and the veranda of the attic you can enjoy the scenery of the ‘Lefka Ori’ mountains. At the attic there is one bedroom with two single beds, one shower room, one WC and sitting room area which can also accommodate two people at its two sofa beds.
At the basement of the house there is gym room, a bathroom, a laundry room and a two space closed car park
It is equiped with floor heating so it is superb in winter as well.

Our family of 8 had the best week ever at this beautiful home. Enough room for everyone! The amzing pool, foosball and air hockey tables entertained us all. The beach is a 15 minute walk downhill and the city of Chania is a must see. Our favorite restaurant was Elia’s right around the corner. A definite Cretan experience. We all highly recommend the Happy Villa.

This past week, we spent 8 relaxing evenings just outside of Chania in Galatas (easy 10 minute drive to the old town). The home was exactly as pictured. Spacious, beautiful, and clean. The pool with a view kept my children entertained for hours. The owners are a lovely couple that were extremely responsive, kind, and generous. We want to come back when time permits.
