About this cabin rental
Cottage Bala is located in a quite and peaceful area of Bled, with a big private garden and beautiful view on a nearby mountains and the lake. You can lay down on the sun or just relax after all day activities which you can find in Bled and its surroundings.
The space
Cottage Bala is fully equipped and it's ideal for 4 people but it can accommodate 7 people ( 6 adults and 1 infant/child ). Two large double beds in a separated bedrooms and additional sofa/bed for the 5th and 6th guest in master bedroom. Highchair and the crib for infant/child are provided.
Cottage has two toilets one in bathroom ( ground floor) and upstairs toilet.
Guest access
Feel free to use all the amenities in the house. For washer and dishwasher ( soap, softener and detergent) are included. Outside you have movable grill and open fireplace ideal for evening gathering by the fire.
Interaction with guests
We always meet our guests in person and help them with ideas what to do or see. There are also maps and brochures about Bled and Slovenia in the cottage.
Other things to note
There is a law in Slovenia that host is responsible for informing local police station about every tourist that sleeps at Bled (or any other place in Slovenia).
That is why we will scan your IDs upon your arrival and charge you for the Tourist Tax which costs:
- 18+ years: €3.13 per person / day
- 7-18 years: €1.56 per person / day
- 0-7 years: free
Please have that amount ready in cash.

Tine was a wonderful host! The property is beautiful and peaceful. He gave us great tips on local restaurants and places to visit. The house is well equipped and clean. Everything you need kitchen and bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. Restaurants , bakery and Lake Bled is in walking distance.Beautiful views of the mountains. I would highly recommend and I would stay there again.

We stayed for a few days on the way home from Croatia.
Property was spotlessly clean, well organised and had all the facilities and equipment you could need for any length of stay.
A beautiful location a short walk from the lake.
Tine was very welcoming and helpful and gave some great advice about how to get the best from our stay.
Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Lake Bled. Tine was a great host providing prompt and helpful communications before and during our visit. We had some excellent advice regarding key places to visit and Tine helped to organise an amazing day on the Soca river for us too. The local bakery was a daily highlight with fresh pastries a great start to the day. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. The children loved the garden and play equipment and it was so peaceful. We enjoyed several days down by Lake Bled (10-15 min walk away) and visiting the surrounding towns and countryside. Overall one of our best family holidays ever - we will definitely be back!

Wir haben eine herrliche Woche in Times Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderschön, super sauber und gepflegt und es fehlt an nichts. Ich habe noch nie eine so topp ausgestattete Küche in einem Ferienhaus angetroffen. Von der Dolce Gusto Maschine bis zum Sandwichmaker ist einfach alles da, alle Arten von Gewürzen, Essig, Öl und sogar Dolce Gusto Kapseln. Das Gelände ist riesig und traumhaft. Im Garten darf man sich an dem liebevoll angebauten Gemüse und Obst reichlich bedienen. Der Vermieter, Tine, wohnt auch auf dem Gelände, drängt sich aber überhaupt nicht auf, gibt aber gern sehr hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge oder Restaurants. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und sollte es uns wiedermal nach Bled verschlagen, dann nur in dieses Haus. Unser Hund war auch mega glücklich dort.
