About this house rental
This elegant home is the perfect get away yet 7 minutes minutes from Murphys and Arnold. The kitchen is fabulous. Starlink fast internet, spacious great room, dining room seats six, two bedrooms with Queen size beds and desks with bathroom across the hall. The home has a 300 sq ft back deck with exercise equipment. The 600 sq ft deck off the Great Room has a BBQ and seating table for six. There is a secluded walk off the back of the property to see the picturesque Stanislaus river valley.

This property is a gorgeous house tucked away in the middle of the woods. It is mid-way between Murphys and Arnold, so a short drive to either. The house has a large open-area kitchen/dining room/living room with a back deck and a hiking trail within walking distance. The owner is very responsive and conscientious.

In terms of the ammenities, the house was really lovely and very high quality. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. for any kind of cooking. The wifi was also good.
There was an unusually severe snow storm during our stay and Simon (the host) was really attentive to us. He contacted us to check on what kind of car we had, whether we had chains, kept us up-to-date on local conditions, and texted us frequently to make sure everything was okay. We are not used to snow conditions, and so we really appreciated it.

Simon and his home were wonderful. If you’re looking for a secluded space for a few days you won’t go wrong. The home is situated between two small towns with a lot of wineries and restaurants. Simon was great too! Very communicative and friendly. Bare in mind that there is no service.
