A charming flat on two floors. It is very cosy and quiet, next to St. Thomas church.
You are right in the historical and touristic center of Strasbourg in the pedestrian zone. Here you can find many restaurants, bars and shops around. Within five minutes walk to the Cathedral and maximum ten minutes to the famous architectural beauties of the Petite France (The Ponts Couvert, the Barrage Vauban, the lock of the petite france, a lot of very nice half-timbered houses, all that among the water arms of the Ill River.)

The landlord of this property is WONDERFUL with communication, helpful information. The information packet and very clear directions were super helpful. It was surprisingly quiet at night, given that there is a bar on the ground level of the building, but the walls are thick, and the courtyard provides some sound insulation.
The apartment is full of character and in a great location. There are a lot of stairs to haul luggage up, and the bathroom is a little challenging in terms of size and access, especially for an older person with arthritis and a recent injury earlier in the vacation. But overall, it is a pleasant and authentic place to stay, providing a wonderful home base in the heart of the old town part of Strassbourg.

This flat is just a few minutes away from all the main attractions in Strasbourg which makes it very easy to walk anywhere we needed. It was also very well equipped with anything we needed which made it easier when staying for a few days. Jean-Philippe was a great host with great communication before we arrived and made us feel welcomed when we arrived in his flat.
