This beautifully restored 1 bedroom apartment sits within the grounds of a traditional working eco-farm in the tiny medieval village of Sillico, high above the Garfagnana valley. From here, you enjoy panoramic views across the dramatic Apuan Alps and the Apennine mountains, fresh mountain air, and genuine village life.
Originally a barn, the apartment has been carefully restored with rustic character while keeping everything practical and comfortable. It is ideal for couples or solo travellers who want peace, scenery and authenticity without sacrificing essentials.

The centre of Sillico is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The village sits 700 metres above sea level and offers some of the best views in the region. You’ll find tiny stone piazzas, historic buildings, a small local shop, and a well-known bar and restaurant with a terrace that is famous locally for its sunset views.
Sillico hosts traditional festivals throughout the year, especially during summer. These include village food events, communal outdoor dinners and local celebrations that bring residents together. This is authentic Tuscan community life, not staged tourism.

Die Ferienwohnung ist super schön gelegen, in einem kleinen ruhigen Dorf mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Ausstattung ist exzellent, man findet alles, was man braucht und es ist sehr sauber. Leider war unser Appartment etwas dunkel, ansonsten gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Es gibt auch einen Grill und man kann schön draußen sitzen. Das Schwimmen im Infinity Pool ist ein Traum, nur könnte die Wassertemperatur etwas wärmer sein. Es ist von Vorteil, die italienische Sprache ein bisschen zu beherrschen, sonst ist man hier ein wenig aufgeschmissen :)
