Right on the waters edge, bring your own boat, kayak, or canoe to use on the personal dock! Perfect for fishing, swimming and boating. The cabin is small but laid out very well, feels much larger with the screened in front deck that looks out over the lake. This is where we hung out the most, and ate all our meals. We love Nantahala Lake, but some of the houses have hundreds of steps to the docks. This house has both steps and a small side path that leads to the dock. Makes the dock more accessible compared to others places we have rented on the lake. I had a couple of questions about the cabin and owners wrote me back quickly and were very friendly. We rented a boat from "Nantahala Shores Boat Rentals" which are located just across the lake from this rental. They dropped off the boat right to our dock, and I highly recommended them if considering renting a boat on your stay. We look forward to our next visit to Nantahala Lake and stay at this cabin!

The cabin was everything it said it was. Very clean and beautiful setting right on the lake. Out door fire pit was a huge hit on the cool evenings. We rented a pontoon and the dock was perfect for that. Owners were fantastic.
