About this cabin rental
The Point is located on Deer Creek near Rocky Point Marina in Cannelton, Indiana. The property is several miles away from our other cabins located in Derby, Indiana. The rental is built on piers and overlooks Deer Creek. It has two bedrooms with queen beds. You can enjoy fishing on the covered dock or just relax sitting by a campfire. The Point does have two covered boat slips and is minutes to the Ohio River by water. The hot tub is located on a covered patio area. Hot tub is cleaned between stays and will require time to reheat.

We stayed in this cabin in mid September and enjoyed it very much. Beautiful views, good fishing, we caught enough to have a fish fry, yum! My daughter an I explored the local thrift shop and a few shops, The beds were quite comfortable, the living room seating was tight for 4 but we spent the majority of our time enjoying the outdoors. Our host answered all my questions and was readily available, we will definitely stay again!!

It was a very relaxing weekend. My only suggestions. don't leave the outside light on. We got there after dark , and the bugs were awful. 2 you need a grill brush. My wife is disabled , and loved being able to sit outside , and watch the wildlife. Thanks.

We didn't receive any communcation on how to enter property. The door was just left open for us. There were nails sticking out of the deck handrail which they quickly repaired. Other portions of handrail were rotted through. And there is a serious floor issue by the bathroom were the floor drops about 2 inches. It was nice and quiet which we really liked but unless the structural issues are addressed i don't think we will go back there
