The location.
My husband and I booked this place for 3 nights solely because of the reviews. I'm thinking now , who are these people that wrote them? We travel frequently, and after booking on this site you get the confirmation and kind of forget what the accomodation REALLY offers. You meet the host, pay in advance, some chit chat, bla bla bla and then it all hits you. There are 2 cottages next to each other, the one we booked was supposed to have an oven, kitchen, kitchenette, mini bar, tea/coffee maker. (Photos of booking attached) This place has NONE of those. The so called 'kitchen' consisted of just 1 hotplate, some cooking utensils , yet NO oven, no mini bar, an empty fridge, no tea/coffee maker, not even the simplest of essentials like salt and pepper! ..let alone a toaster for breakfast. No wine openers, not even a napkin in sight! No wardrobe or clothes hangers either. Why we didn't complain? Because we were in the middle of nowhere, with a new hired Jeep in their property. You make the conclusions.
To the owner: Don't you think we deserve an explanation and an apology? However I doubt that, and it's a shame really treating tourists like that. People fork out their hard earned money to have memorable holidays not feel stressed and deceived.
