Welcome to Life’s a Beach, a stunning two-story beachfront getaway located in the desirable Kahala Beach subdivision of Galveston, Texas. With direct beach access and panoramic Gulf views, this spacious 3,045 sq ft home offers the perfect coastal escape for large or extended families, with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, and enough room to comfortably sleep up to 15 guests.
Start your mornings with the sound of waves and breathtaking sunrises from the expansive sun deck, or relax in the shaded lower-level lounge area after a full day of beach adventures. A private dune walkover makes it easy to reach the sand just steps from your door. The upper deck is fully equipped with three tables, ten Adirondack chairs, and four lounge chairs, giving everyone a spot to soak in the sun or enjoy a family meal with a view. Downstairs, you'll find a swing, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water—ideal for rinsing off after the beach.
Inside, Life’s a Beach welcomes you with updated coastal décor and an open layout designed for comfort and connection. The main level features a large living area with a queen sleeper sofa, a fully stocked kitchen, and a dining area, all bathed in natural light and ocean views. A spacious prmary suite on this floor boasts a King bed, private bath, TV, and direct deck access.
Upstairs, three additional bedrooms and a second living space provide plenty of room to spread out. Two of the upstairs bedrooms feature king beds, while the third is a kid-friendly bunk room with a full/twin and a standard twin bunk. The second living room/den includes a queen sleeper sofa, large screen TV, and Blu-ray player, perfect for movie nights or a quiet retreat.

Nice home in a good neighborhood. You enter the house into a warm and musky room that had a very bad smell and crickets in the room. The next 2 floors were nice, except for roaches and dishes that were not the cleanest.
The view and the patio were great. There were lots of notes with lots of house rules. Took some of the joy out of the vacation. Quite overboard on what was common sense. The advertised perks were not all accessible. The master fireplace had notes posted about being unusable.
The biggest disappointment was notes saying not set the A/C below 71 degrees. We complied but were super uncomfortable every night. Six nights of NOT great sleep because of the room temperature. All of these things should have been voiced before we agreed to the terms of service and paid over 4k for 6 nights. Would never stay here again. Feel pretty duped about the advertising compared to the actual product.
