About this house rental
Classified 4 * cottage, ideally located 50m from the beach and downtown Crotoy, Baie de Somme. Small house of 50m ² entirely renovated in 2013 has a capacity of reception from 4 to 5 people.

A couple of weeks prior to arrival, I received an email from Arnaud to inform me that we could either clean the property ourselves before departure or we could pay 30 euros for someone to clean after we left. Included in the same email, we were informed that we could take our own bedding and towels or pay 70 euros to have it provided for 5 people. As there were only 2 of us staying in the property, I responded to Arnaud to inform him that we only needed bedding and towels for 2 people. He then reduced the price to 40 euros.
I reviewed the advert for the property and there was no mention of this extra cost. I feel that this should be included within the information within the advert.
On arrival Arnaud was very prompt to meet us and let us into the property. There is on street car parking which costs 30 euros for the week and you can park anywhere in Le Crotoy on the same ticket.
Some of the photographs of the property within the advert did not reflect the property we were staying in. One photograph shows the main property but the actual house is a side door which leads through to an passageway to the house at the back.
The other photograph which I felt was deceiving was the photograph of the courtyard. Within the photograph, it appear to be a large enclosed area. In fact this courtyard is shared between the front and rear houses. This is only separated by a
tarpaulin screen.
Otherwise the property is very nice and I feel that if the advert was amended, this would give a truer reflection.

Tout est très bien, l'aménagement intérieur, l'équipement, il y a de nombreux accessoires mis à disposition sauf la cours. En effet la cours est partagée avec une autre location. La cours est seulement séparée par un brise vu en tissus ce qui fait que l'on entend toutes le conversations des voisins qui sont à 1 mètre de distance de l'autre côté du brise vu. Vraiment dommage car du coup nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la cours extérieur pour y prendre le déjeuner ou l'apéritif.
