My wife and I had an excellent stay at this cottage for a long weekend getaway to the mountains of western North Carolina. As indicated in the title of the property listing, the location is fantastic. We wanted to explore both downtown Black Mountain as well as Montreat, and this property is perfectly situated for that. We also were able to walk into Black Mountain to enjoy the annual Sourwood festival and didn’t have to compete for parking. The owner was exceptionally friendly while also giving us privacy at the cottage behind her house. We hope to stay here again!

Very convenient to all of our wants for our stay in Black Mountain. Brenda is a great hostess, so helpful when we needed assistance for my husband. She went beyond what was required, and we appreciate it so much. The cottage is so cute - as my daughter said - Adorable! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. television is good as well. May thanks to Brenda and her friend !
