About this house rental
Relax in style at this spacious home (sleeps 8) perched right on the water (Permit: 211324). Just steps to the sand and a one-minute walk to Moran Lake Beach, this home offers panoramic 180° views of the beautiful bay from Monterey/Carmel all the way to Santa Cruz. By day, soak up the sunshine and ocean activity; by night, enjoy the sparkling Santa Cruz city lights and breathtaking sunsets. Gather on the expansive oceanfront deck with a gas grill, dining set, and lounges—perfect for BBQs, sunsets, or simply relaxing with a book. An additional upper deck off the master suite provides a private perch for quiet mornings or stargazing evenings.
This is one of the best spots for world-class surfing at Pleasure Point and WindanSea—surfboards are included! Watch surfers, sailboats, seals, otters, dolphins, and pelicans right from your deck, or hop on the bike path (bikes provided) and ride to Capitola.
You’re just minutes from dining, coffee shops, breweries, and nightlife. The Harbor is nearby for fishing trips or waterfront restaurants, and Capitola Village offers boutiques, cafés, and plenty of coastal charm.

- A second king bedroom in main area also opens to interior courtyard
- A third bedroom in main area has a queen
- Smart TV in family room and each bedroom w/ streaming capabilities (no cable or local channels)
- WIFI throughout the home
- The Family Room has a gas fireplace
- Hot/cold outdoor shower and a water filtration system
- Parking for 4 (3 cars in driveway depending on size and 1 car in garage)
- Fully stocked kitchen w/ drip coffee maker and Keuirg
- Kitchen, Dining, & Family Room all have stunning ocean views on 1st level
- Dining area offers seating for 8 plus 4 stools at the kitchen counter
- Outdoor dining offers seating for 8, gas grill and 2 lounges

Note:
- Moran Lake Beach is just a quick 1-minute walk away! Simply head down 4 homes and access the sand from East Cliff. Please note, there isn't direct beach access from in front of the house. Sometimes the sand does sit in front where you can access from main beach.
- No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced). We are very respectful of our neighbors. This home is your retreat for rest and relaxation
- NO PETS
- No Smoking
- We may have landscapers, pest service and other property maintenance done. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves in gate to service as needed.
- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc).

Unbelievable location — we saw sea otters and dolphins from the porch, and it’s truly magical to have this view of the ocean and hear the waves crash while sitting at the dining table. Easy walk to a lovely, uncrowded beach. Our hosts were incredibly responsive to our questions and quickly addressed issues.

Was a perfect long weekend at the beach. Home had all the comforts along with insanely beautiful views. So Grateful!

Over all we loved the location and view! However there are some things that needs updating in the house! A new washer and dryer is a must, the set that is there both do not work very well at all! The downstairs bedrooms are very musty and have an ant issue! The master upstairs needs to have the carpet removed, it’s very old and filthy with stains and odor. The mattress needed to be replaced, not comfortable at all. I never received the key code, so we had to contact someone from the property management before we could enter the house! They answered quickly and were able to get in within 10mins.
