Location was fine for the weekend as we only stayed 2 nights for an event.

So close to the beach.
Unique access to beach front.
Lovely, bright and clean. Beds comfortable and linen smelled fresh.
Great shower.
Great instructions to find it.
Access difficult with a winding path and uneven steps. Unable to take all of our luggage due to the path as international travellers and so had leave most of our belongings on the hire car which made us uncomfortable. The inside wooden floor was loose in many places so was noisy and uneven to step on - needs resealing. No onsite parking.

Loved the location and the decor. Contact from owners was very good and helpful (thankfully, because Booking.com didn't send keysafe/access details until the day AFTER we arrived!) Lovely welcome basket with amazing goodies Very comfortable beds. Can hear the sea from the apartment. Secret stairs to beachfront and pathway to the main street so best of both worlds. Really ideal for a little getaway with family. Loved the little lobby with the window seat was gorgeously warm after a blowy walk. New seating since pictures ... very comfortable! Lots of people have described this apartment as a hidden gem and that's exactly what it is.
As mentioned in other reviews the parquet flooring is very loose but also very beautiful and may be prohibitively expensive to repair. Stairs and pathway to property are uneven, just need to take care.
