Loved the old building, it looked like it was a part of an old beautiful house with stables through to the back.
The apartment had a lot of character and was well laid out. Great location near the centre. Access to the apartment was with a key lock which was great as we arrived very late (early morning)
The parking was across the road, which was perfect but it was only until 9am, we then had to move it to a paid parking building, but there were good and clear instructions for this. Tbh, it was still very close to the apartment, it was a 1 way system, so had to go around the block basically. Parking was not outrageous. This felt a bit of a pain, more so as we had only arrived a few hours earlier.
The house rules were quite unrelaxing, this may have been due to translation, but it did instill nervousness, hoping we had done everything correctly. I also can understand if they may have been written after guests maybe not treating the property respectfully.

Very cosy with nice facilities. Nearby covered carpark very cheap.
Had an issue with the TV which wasn't a big problem.

The location is not good, it's a tiny apartment sandwiched between a loud road and a railway line. It's quite an intimidating area for a lone woman travelling with kids (however laid back they might be!).
Having read many more reviews, it seems the host is very defensive of the location. There were a few too many belongings left in the apartment for it to feel like a rented place, lacked professionalism.
