For us (a family with an 8-year-old), Sunny 2 was a perfect base to explore the area around Komotini and the beaches between Maroneia and Arogi by car. We stayed for a week in July 2025.

Persephone and Paris, thank you so much for your warm welcome, helpful tips, and all the thoughtful suggestions!
We especially loved:
* the scenic daily drives to the beaches and back
* the sound of night crickets and morning roosters from the neighbors’ yards
* the walk under the stars on our way back from dinner at the local tavern
* the choir concert in the village of Iasmos
* discovering a hidden gem of a tavern with no reviews on Google Maps in the small harbor of Agios Haralambos
* the owners’ super friendly cat and tiny dog who came to check on us every morning
We’ll definitely keep this place close to our hearts and hope to return one day!

Extremely kind and helpful hosts, Very large and peaceful space. It was a very pleasant experience
There were a lot of spiders and insects because it was a farmhouse This was not a problem for us, but phobics should take this into account
