Cozy and stylishly furnished apartments in the Eckermannhaus right in the center of Weimar (Thuringia) invite you to spend the night in a historic atmosphere. You are visiting Goethe's friend and secretary Johann Peter Eckermann. He gave the house where he lived until 1823 his name. The listed building is one of the oldest residential buildings in the “Frauentorvorstadt” (center) in Weimar. It was in the 16th Built in the 19th century and extensively restored from 1998 to 1999. This 35 sqm apartment on the 1st The upper floor is furnished in the Bauhaus style. Up to 4 people can stay here, whereby 2 people can use the couch as an extra bed in the living area. It has a large living room with a modern kitchen and dining area. An LED TV with cable connection is available. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a double bed and a linen closet, bed linen is included. A cot can easily be placed on request. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and toilet. Towels are ready.

Wunderbar gelegene Wohnung, inkl. Schalschutzausstattung für beten Schlafcomfort inmitten einer lebendigen Altstadt, großartig!!

Für Literatur-Fans perfekt: Wohnen im Eckermann-Haus und nur einen Steinwurf von Goethe-und Schillerhaus entfernt! Schiefe Böden und Wände vergisst man darüber leicht. Das Bett für den dritten Gast ist etwas unbequem und die Wohnung könnte etwas besser geputzt sein, aber die Lage ist sensationell und die Nachtruhe trotzdem gegeben.

Die FeWo befindet sich inmitten des historischen Stadtkerns und hat selbst eine geschichtsträchtige Vergangenheit. Hier beweist sich, alt muss nicht altmodisch sein. Die kleine Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Sehr angenehm war auch der nette Kontakt zum Vermieter, der Fragen sofort beantwortete. Danke . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Die FeWo hat eine super Lage direkt um die Ecke vom Goethehaus. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten stören aber das Gesamtbild:
- das Sofa ist schon zum Sitzen sehr unbequem und ich würde nicht darauf schlafen wollen
- der Couchtisch hat ein kaputtes Bein
- es wurde nicht genug Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung gestellt, das Spülmittel war fast leer, die Pfeffermühle war kaputt
- es gab keine Anleitung oder ein Willkommensheft, in dem z.B. beschrieben wurde, wie der Fernseher funktioniert
=> ein wenig mehr Liebe zum Detail würde die FeWo nochmal deutlich aufwerten
