About this apartment rental
No Pets Allowed. Not suitable for children. This vacation condo is located on the serene bluff, overlooking San Simeon Beach by Pico Creek. San Simeon is the gateway to Big Sur, and a perfect "home base" if you plan on traveling up scenic Highway 1, to the Elephant Seal sanctuary, or visit the famed Hearst Castle. Only 5 minutes south to picturesque Cambria, which is known for it's soulful charm, galleries, shopping, & restaurants. Set away from the hustle and bustle of a more populated beach front area, this is a quiet place, where people come to relax and repair. You are within a short stroll to the restaurants and shops in San Simeon. No pets allowed. No more than 4 guests at any time. Waterfront, Fireplace out of order, Smart tv's, VCR, Dvd, Cd player, BBQ, washer / dryer, dishwasher. Exterior security cameras cover front door and driveway. TOT #0000554

Location, above the waves, quiet. We were busy exploring the area, but the best part of the day was sipping a glass of wine, watching a lone surfer, surrounded by birds diving for fish. So comfortable and clean. Only complaint is the lock on the dumpster needs oiling or replacement.We will be back next year.

What a beautiful cozy beach front home! The pictures and description were exactly as expected. And, then once you actually see the ocean view… WOW! We had such a great trip and definitely going back.

Everything was wonderful! The location… the close access out your door to the beach … the weather and temperatures!! Only drawback was one bedroom… the bed frame appeared to be broken… so bed was off/leaning !We had a great family time there and the surrounding towns with the wineries!!

We felt the pictures accurately represented what to expect in terms of view, decor, etc. However, many things in the unit did seem to function properly. The fireplace broke 2x while we there. Maintenance came and fixed during the day, it worked for about 30 minutes and stopped working. We were disappointed since we did not get to have a nightly fire. There is a tv in the master bedroom, but there is no cable, roku, etc. so the tv is essentially useless unless you bring your own streaming. The propane tank for the BBQ was so rusted we were afraid to use it so we ordered out instead. The unit is also downstairs, and we had a very loud upstairs neighbor who kept stomping on the floor. I could go on but they are mainly first world problems. We might return but will look for other options first. Notwithstanding the unit, we really liked the rental company and found them to be very efficient, professional, and helpful. Would definitely look to rent with them first over others.
