With seating, a barbecue and a chiminea, this is the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by. The village of Staveley offers a whole host of amenities, including Staveley Mill Yard with its cycle hire, outdoor shops, artisan bakery and brewery, while the beautiful Kentmere Valley is just a short walk away and is very popular with mountain bikers and walkers. The scenery in the area is truly breathtaking, with Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside and Lake Windermere all within a short drive. An older property with thick walls, well looked after and with everything you need. Great attention to detail with four folders giving information about the property and things to do in the locality.
The road is quiet and it is a wonderful walk into the village along the river and past the park. Some noise comes from above - there was a toddler finding his/her feet when we were there but it wasn't intrusive.
We enjoyed our stay and will try to come again.

A real gem. This lovingly restored cottage is equipped with every amenity. The quaint and charming village of Staveley is a 5-10 minute walk Staveley has a fine bakery, an old fashion pub and several interesting shops and restaurants. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous
