It is a beautiful cottage in a good location equipped with everything we required.
Unfortunately the ruined building behind the cottage is being converted into luxury flats. We were woken up every morning between 7am -8am by noise from the building site. We contacted customer services hoping they might ask for the building work to start a little later but they did not respond to us. We could not use the courtyard during the day due to the noise. We spent all day out and about as there was nowhere in the cottage we could go to escape the sound of heavy drilling . Hopefully once the steel girders are in place it will be a little quieter.

Brilliant location, handy for the harbour and town centre shops. Beds were fine.
Washing machine outside! The back garden was untidy and dirty.

Central and near everything . A minutes walk to harbour, shops, restaurants, pubs . Warm and very homely cottage with everything we needed.
The noise from revellers leaving the nearby club . We only had that for 2 nights ,the double glazing is very good so does block it out but wouldn’t want windows closed when it’s warm, so bear this in mind when you book. A grab rail on wall to get in and out of shower instead of having to hold onto bathroom door would help a lot. Also the basket in shower is in a very awkward place. Would be great if electric shower in situ was working as would make things easier .
