The room was clean and nicely furnished. There was 3 adults and two children under the age of 6 and we had plenty of room for us to sit comfortably in living area. The private pier was great to watch the sunset from. Its a very short walk to several restaurants and a few stores which was really great!

Nice size for a family of 4 with beach access and easy parking.
The main bed is a bit uncomfortable and some of the outlets are pretty old to the point that chargers kept falling out of the outlets

The location was excellent right on the beach, oceanfront. Close to everything. Shops right outside and 30 minutes to Charleston downtown. Enjoyed my coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the deck. Love the size of the property as a whole and the layout.
The property is in need of updating for sure. The unit has a queen bed in the main bedroom that is a tight fit for the room so maneuvering around it could be a challenge for some. The two twins located in the hallway were barely twins. These are fine for children but I do not believe any adult would sleep on them comfortably since they are so narrow. The pullout in living room was fine. This unit was ok for our needs but has so much potential. I did not like the fact that no beach chairs or umbrellas were provided in the unit and that we had to book and pay for them separately through IOPbeachumbrellas which was a little costly in addition to our accommodations. In hindsight we should have purchased some inexpensive chairs and an umbrella for the week which I’m sure a lot of people who fly there do, and leave them there when they go, so there could be a community “borrowing” system for those who need. Our unit was on the 3rd floor which was great but be aware there are no elevators so luggage can be a bit of a pain. The unit provides a Mr Coffee standard coffee maker but you will need filters. Overall we had a lovely time but there is always room for improvement.
