Iokasti Villa is an exclusive and absolutely secluded house built at the beautiful village of Atsipopoulo, 5km from Rethymno city. It can host up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, all of them with a private bathroom. Sourounded by amazing gardens and a stunning swimming pool! It offers an endless blue view to the sea, while being in walking distance from the village of Atsipopoulo, where you can find all the local amenities like supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacy etc.
Villa Iokasti awaits you to experience the Cretan hospitality, tradition and history, as well as pleasurable moments of relaxation and serenity.
Villa Iokasti locates in walking distance from the village Atsipopoulo, which can meet all your first needs. Supermarket, bakery, groceries and butchery shop, cofee shop, restaurants, ATM and pharmacy are all included in the picturesque village of Atsipopoulo. However, as the villa locates at the hill above the village, the whole atmosphere is really calm, as it locates inside the nature in a peaceful and ideal for relaxing enviroment. The center of Rethymno is also 5 kilometres away and 10 minutes drive.
Villa Iokasti is concstructed all in one floor, measures 123 m2 and has a private swimming pool and an exterior space of 850 sq meters. Moreover,it can host 6 persons in 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom (two of them have a shower and one has a bathtub). Two of them have a double bed and last one has two single beds.
As you come in from the entrance of the house, you will find the living area with a cozy sofa, a full-equipped kitchen and a dining area.
Walking further at the house you will meet the three bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and the last one two single beds. All the rooms are air-conditioned.
The villa is equipped with Satellite television, Coffee machinet, Microwave, Toaster, Dishwasher, Clothes washer, Deposit box, Hair-dryer and Baby cot.
The exterior of the villa includes a 30 sq.metres private swimming pool, a dining table and seats for all the 6 persons, as well as 6 sunbeds in order you can enjoy the cretan sun. In addition, the villa has its own barbeque facilities for your personal use, as well as a small playground for the children. The swimming pool of the villa can also be heated with an extra cost of 35 euros per day (upon request at least 7 days before arrival and valid only for the whole booking).
Additionally, there is a veranda on the first floor of the house with a small living exterior area and a really nice view.
The location of the villa is ideal for exploring our whole island. Located in the center of the north part of Crete, only 3 kilometres from the highway provides easy access from the local airports (Heraklion and Chania) and the opportunity to visit from the big cities of the island to the smallest beaches in both north and south part of Crete.

Dimitri greeted us warmly and gave us a quick tour of the home when we arrived. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, homemade cookies, water, and snacks in the fridge—such a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel right at home.Villa Iokasti is a gorgeous property just a few minutes up the hill from Rethymno, offering incredible privacy and breathtaking views. It was worth every penny. Rethymno’s central location made it easy for us to explore Crete and experience the island’s rich culture.The villa was perfect for our multigenerational group, offering both space to spread out and places to gather together comfortably.I truly can’t recommend Villa Iokasti enough—in fact, we shared the listing with a couple we met at the airport on our way home!

Séjour parfait dans cette belle villa, conforme en tout point à l'annonce, sans vis à vis.
Bien située proche Réthymno et de tous les commerces du village.
Piscine bien entretenue avec discrétion.
Petits cadeaux gastronomiques des propriétaires à l'accueil, comme durant le séjour. Merci.

Diese Villa bietet alles was man für einen Perfekten Urlaub benötigt!
Der Pool ist großzügig und Kinderfreundlich und die Aussenanlage sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt.
Im inneren ist alles sehr bequem und hochwertig.
Am besten ist allerdings die liebevolle Pflege der Eigentümer.
Regelmäßig wird alles gereinigt und der Pool behandelt.
Die Sauberkeit ist ausserordentlich gut.
Besser kann man es sich nicht vorstellen, auch die Lage (6min bis zur wundervollen und schönsten Stadt Kretas) ist perfekt sowie der Ausblick mit sicht auf das Meer.
Wir kommen sicher wieder!
