About this cottage rental
Charming, newly renovated garden cottage (bathroom renovated in November 2025) with separate entrance, private bathroom, and gourmet chef's kitchen. It is completely furnished with a plush king-sized bed, desk, desk chair, two end tables, luxury linens, armoire, custom closet, linens, ceiling fan, central heating, and air conditioning, and Hulu cable television with Netflix. The living room has a 50” television and the bedroom features a 43” television. The separate kitchen/living area includes a full-sized refrigerator, four-burner range, dishwasher, over the range microwave with convection oven, quartz countertops, and a washer/dryer. Additional small appliances and amenities include cookware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, kitchen table with two chairs, and a rug. Dishes, cups, cutlery, and coffee filters are provided. Guests have exclusive use of the private patio behind the cottage, but do not have access to the main patio (owner's usage only).
The cottage is located next to picturesque garden which is maintained by the owner. The cottage has a private patio behind the cottage (main patio is for owners only) and includes street parking. It is located in Menlo Park just blocks from University Avenue in Palo Alto and is very convenient to Stanford University. The cottage is close to bus lines and 1.5 miles away from the Palo Alto CalTrain. There is a grocery store and coffee shop within two blocks of the cottage.
Includes bi-weekly maid service, electricity, gas, heat, hot water, parking, cable television, trash, wireless internet, and bicycle with lock.

This delightful little cottage is everything it claims to be. We spent a month at the property while visiting family. The location is very convenient to local attractions as well as the freeways you need to access. The tiny space is so cute and well appointed and lives much larger than you would expect. The host has considered every detail. It made our stay so pleasant and we will return.
