Set just a short stroll from the local dining pub, it makes an excellent base for a relaxing break, within easy reach of the Cotswolds, Bath, Stonehenge, Westonbirt Arboretum and Cotswold Water Park – all a short drive. Malmesbury’s 12th-century abbey and famous gardens, quaint shops and restaurants are just 3 miles.

Recommend the property unreservedly but suggest you book directly through cottages.com as that is where Vrbo will throw you anyway. The Vrbo system was a massive let down and caused a great deal of stress with confirmation of the booking. Give them a wide berth but enjoy thi ssuper property if you can.

Lovely setting, so quiet & peaceful which is just what we wanted. Very atmospheric, loved the log burner, everything you could need is supplied. Shame our 3 nights was cut to 2 due to the new Covid lockdown but we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Beautifully positioned for visiting places - several beautiful walks and attractions within half an hour drive eg. National Arboretum.
There is a pub within a 5-10min walk serving good food, but advise that you have a torch handy for the walk back!
The cottage is very peaceful and private, a little ‘tired’ but clean, with a very comfortable bed. There is an additional charge on site for the oil heating.
