We absolutely loved this place and would certainly go back. Only a couple of small niggles - the private car parking had been fenced off (by the Council I guess) so had to take potluck. On the up side, parking charges in this car park were suspended for the duration of our stay. Also, we were woken up early on several mornings by dustmen and deliveries - probably not much fun in the high season.
However, we thought this was a great place for an Autumn break. It is central, convenient for the pubs, shops, Fish & Chips etc etc. Highly recommended!

Great apartment well equipped and comfortable, only drawback was the reserved parking had been fenced off by council, but managed to find alternative.

This was my second time at Crown and Anchor, everything was almost perfect, just
the inside of the oven was dirty across the bottom and some of the crockery. This would not put me off at booking again, very comfortable, a lot of noise early in the morning of deliveries and people using the car park, but we are up early anyway so wasn't an issue for us.
