Thre landlord was wonderful and helpful with the check in process. The property was clean and well stocked kitchen for everything you need. A great location for a quiet space but only a little walk into the local town. Would definitely stay there again.

We are a large family and myself and my brothers and sisters have a weekend away once a year. So all we need is somewhere that is clean, warm and welcoming the Granary fitted the bill perfectly. We had one day in the Forest of Dean and did the sculpture trail. And one day Fishing at Elton fishery. A great time was had by all.

Great cottage and superb outside spaces (pool, tennis court and gardens for kids to run around), but a bit run down inside (e.g. bathrooms, lack of extractor fans and windows). No issue if weather good, but not great if stuck inside.

The house was pretty. Lots of dated furniture and worn kitchen and bathroom.. All of it is functional and clean, so not a problem. I would suggest the house undergoes a good upgrade for a more comfortable stay, especially the beds! Pool was nice to use- thought it was included in the price but was asked to pay £45 separately. Some clarity on that is needed.
Overall good base to explore the Wye valley.
