Fab apartment in a great location. Rooms are lovely & clean, got everything you need, like home from home. Owner & her husband very easy to deal with & obtaining the key when we arrived was super easy. Great having a car parking space too, major asset in a city! If I had to pick at one thing, it would just be the noise from the apartment above, TV was very loud each night till gone 11 but can’t blame the owners or the apartment on that, that’s really the luck of the draw as to whose above. Would highly recommend the apartment! We will defo be back

Wow! We loved our stay at County House. The apartment was extremely clean and well appointed with a view of the Minster from the window. The location is superb; 2 minute walk to Monkbar gate, 1 minute to a large Sainsbury’s and a ten minute drive out of town. The apartment has everything you need over two levels and everything was spotless when we arrived. The owner is really helpful and we would definitely try to stay here again if we go to York again.

Only a few disappointments. The stairs need fixing as creak loudly! The grill doesn’t work very well at all, so we gave up in the end and used the frying pan instead!
We had a very antisocial neighbour in the apartment above us who played music loudly from 1am - 7am in the morning didn’t get much sleep at all!😡
