On the edge of Dartmoor National Park, this property is in a stunning location and ideal for exploring the area.. 1 step to entrance.

Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Lawned garden (shared) with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 15 acres of natural and landscaped grounds (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a lake in the grounds, 50 yards away.. In a lovely rural setting on the outskirts of Cheriton Bishop, 1 mile north of the Dartmoor National Park, Rose Cottage is a well presented, single-storey holiday cottage and is attached to the owner’s home, with views across the lake and countryside. Exeter, with its many attractions, is just 8 miles. On your doorstep the park offers marvellous walking, climbing, pony trekking, superb scenery, bird watching and wildlife. Nearby, enjoy glorious walking through the Teign Gorge and the dramatic moorlands of Dartmoor, or visit Castle Drogo (NT), Fingle Glen, the Canonteign Falls and the Miniature Pony Centre. There are also lots of outdoor activities on offer, including coarse fishing onsite (tackle available to borrow, licence required), golfing, riding and tennis. The sandy beaches/seaside resorts of Dawlish, 13 miles, Torquay and Bude all within easy reach. The Eden Project is 1 hour away. Evening meals available for a small cost using fresh local produce. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile.

A very comfortable cottage which is well equipped and has beautiful gardens and friendly hosts. National trust property Castle Drogo is nearby and Exeter also . The local pub has good food. There is a lake for fishing in the grounds . A fishing licence is required

Rose Cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean, beautiful view. Very well equipped with everything you need and a cream tea waiting for us when we arrived. Ann and John were great hosts you couldn't ask for more.
