Lovely couple that helped us with the booking. They helped us out with extra refrigerated space as the one in the house kitchen wasn’t enough for the amount of people that can stay there. We took our own towels as the house didn’t supply them. It is self catering without anything - we were caught short without any loo roll. The TV is free view only and very poor reception, barely watchable most the time. There is no WiFi and 4G is very intermittent. The house was booked as a Christmas let with the house being decorated but was unable to be decorated as the owners were sadly ill. Saying all this to help you plan appropriately if you plan to go, the house was a good price for what it offered. We were comfortable, clean and warm and able to all be together for Christmas. The cottage is 10mins from Bath which was really handy.We would consider the house again for sure. Thank you for hosting us.

A comfortable house with friendly helpful owner. Although the garden is small, the village hall, 5 minutes walk, has a good playground and playing fields . We were prepared for lack of house WiFi but hadn’t anticipated the very poor signal for various networks our parties mobiles used. Consequently we were limited to intermittent use of the internet, making and receiving texts etc. Additionally TV also had very poor signal and was therefore unwatchable, bring DVDs . A reasonably resourced kitchen was provided. Good location to explore Somerset. We would stay there again.
