Baswick Steer was a lovely house and 6 of us and our dogs had a nice holiday there. The garden is enclosed and perfectly safe. The surrounding area is extremely peaceful. If you want a relaxing holiday you couldn’t wish for more. The river is opposite the house. Perfect for walks and birdwatching. The nearby village of Brandesburton is good for eating out with 2 pubs, a good Chinese and fish and chip restaurant. We also loved the beach at Fraisethorpe on the way to Bridlington.

We stayed here with 10 adults, one infant, and a few dogs of Christmas and we couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The house is perfect for large get together, it has everything you would ever need to host 10 people, and is incredibly well equipped. The walks along the canal are beautiful, and if your legs can handle it theres a pub around 5 miles away which was a lovely look out. All in all a fantastic rural location, and an equally fantastic house.
