Lovely and cosy bungalow with everything you need for an enjoyable stay, lovely garden, very useful to have a lockable gate to stop my cockapoo from getting onto road, Keswick town centre just a short stroll away, I would highly recommend staying at The Rowans.

Great location only 10/15 minutes walk into Keswick and loads of walks around the town.
Lovely to get back to a warm,clean, welcoming and comfortable holiday home.
Please note however that the check in details were non existent!!!!
We had to chase the key code details the day before our holiday from Cottages.com…..not good at all.
This stopped us from giving this property 5 stars.

The property was excellent but we had no information from Vrbo on confirmation of payment, property access etc. We managed to get help from a third party who confirmed there was a common issue with encrypted emails from Vrbo not getting to customers.

The Rowans was a great base for exploring the lakes. The house was amazingly equipped, especially the kitchen, and the books, games and DVDs were a nice bonus to have. The garden is secure so was safe for our dog to use. We had problems with the shower, but the owner was lovely and got someone out to us really quickly. I’d absolutely recommend and we’d happily stay again!
