Also within easy reach is Lanhydrock House (National Trust) with its cycle hub, or take the steam train from Bodmin to Wenford Bridge. Hire a bike and cycle the Camel Trail, which leads to the market town of Wadebridge and beyond to Padstow. This holiday property is well placed to visit the attractions on both the south and north coasts of Cornwall including Looe, Polperro, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel. Beach 9 miles. Shop pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Perfect location which is really quiet but the cottage itself could do with a lick of paint, the flooring squeak's and generally it could do with some TLC. The outdoor decking has also seen better days. Bodmin Town itself isn't great, a little run down and full of charity shops (unless you like that kind of thing) so very little to see or do there. There are a number of supermarkets to choose from though.

Super property and great location to explore Cornwall just outside Bodmin on a quite road. One double and one twin bedrooms were perfect arrangement for us. Open kitchen diner with fully stocked equipment made cooking the natural choice for us. Bi-fold doors to the side garden helped open up the great space even more for a chilled and relaxing stay.

I wish every holiday cottage was as clean, well maintained and equipped as this. Everything you need for a warm and cosy home from home. Would definitely recommend this as an excellent property from which to explore Cornwall.
