We had a wonderful stay. The owners had thought of almost everything a family would need, including a high chair, travel cot and non-slip mats for the bath. They also included essentials… tea, sugar, milk, washing up equipment and cake! Thank you. It looks exactly as it does in the photos… except the lounge is nicer in person! The only inaccuracy with the listing is that the filters say it has a pool. I knew it didn’t from reading the listing; there is a public outdoor pool in nearby Hathersage that our kids loved though. Just brace yourself that it feels cold, even though it’s heated.

A lovely cottage in a quiet village in the Dark Peak area. The cottage was everything we needed - clean, comfortable and plenty of space for 4 adults. Excellent location for walking in the Peaks, visits to Chatsworth or nearby towns like Bakewell or even Sheffield.
